and they probably died in their sins.
Accepting the blood only in your mind
will not bring salvation. Jesus and His divine
blood have to become a part of your whole
being. Jesus said, Drink ye all of it; For this
is my blood of the new testament, which
is shed for many for the remission of sins
(Matthew 26:27,28). You can’t just take a sip
from that divine cup; you have to drink it all
and give your whole heart to the Lord.
Only the Blood Saves
You will find no reality in salvation outside
the blood of Jesus. Many people today
hope or imagine they are saved, but they
are not really sure. When you become truly
born again through the blood of Jesus, you
will know it without one doubt. I say again
that there is power in the blood of Jesus to
wash away all your sins and make you holy
like God Himself. Jesus said, Be ye therefore
perfect, even as your Father which
is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48).
God is our Father, and we should be as
perfect as He is.
You have to receive salvation God’s way,
not man’s way. Many people think water
baptism will save them, but that is not so.
It is an act of showing you have a clear
conscience toward God after you get saved.
Even baptism doth also now save us (not
the putting away of the filth of the flesh,
but the answer of a good conscience
toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus
Christ (I Peter 3:21).
If water could have washed away sins,
Jesus would not have had to come to Earth
and shed His blood. True salvation only
comes through the divine blood of Jesus.
He brought that blood and died on Calvary
to make it available to all people.
When you come into the reality of the
blood, you will find no separation between
you and God; and nothing will hold you
back from Him. As the divine blood
flowed in the veins of Jesus when He was
on Earth, the divine blood flows in the
souls of all who take Jesus into their hearts.
The Healing Blood
Divine healing for the body and the soul
comes through the power in the blood that
stained the old rugged Cross. But he Jesus
was wounded for our transgressions, he
was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and with
his blood stripes we are healed (Isaiah
53:5).
Healing is on the table of the Lord for all,
and it is within your reach. All you have to
do is reach out with an obedient hand of
love and take it with no doubt. God does
not work with doubt.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou
mayest prosper and be in health, even as
thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly,
when the brethren came and testified of
the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest
in the truth (III John 1:2,3). God wants
our bodies to be healthy just as He wants our
souls to be healthy in Him. It isn’t the will of
the Lord for His children to be sick, but many
preachers today say that is so.
The Bible tells of blind Bartimaeus crying
out to Jesus to be healed, and he received his
sight. Bartimaeus was just a beggar sitting by
the side of the road; and when he heard that
Jesus was passing by him, he began to cry
out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have
mercy on me. And many charged him that
he should hold his peace: but he cried the
more a great deal, Thou son of David, have
mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and
commanded him to be called. And they
call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of
good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he,
casting away his garment, rose, and came
to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto
him, What wilt thou that I should do
unto thee? The blind man said unto him,
Lord, that I might receive my sight (Mark
10:47–51).
Bartimaeus knew that Jesus could heal
him, so he cast away his old, dirty garment
of sin; and he went to meet Jesus with faith
and love. Then he received forgiveness for
his soul and sight for his eyes—both spiritual
and physical sight. And Jesus said unto
